Sadie is currently planning and seeking to deliver a new project for 2021/22, to develop and re-ignite the Bideford Heritage Days
The project seeks to tell the story of North Devon and Bideford’s Elizabethan Heritage – Pottery production, the English settlements of tobacco plantations and the reciprocal trade and English colonies in the New World and the story of The Lost Colony.
These stories will be examined and brought to life through an arts exchange with Bideford’s twin town Manteo NC and the creation of new work. There are also plans for a programme of community activity with schools, groups and organisations, with workshops and content to be created for a large celebratory event.
A number of volunteers, arts professionals and a project partner will be engaged with the project.
